With this letter VISTA Foreign Business Support would like to notify you that starting from January 12, 2009 the Interregional Information Business centre has started to accept corrections for foreign employees quota applications for the year 2009.

Corrections for the quota applications for the year 2009 should be submitted in the following cases:

1. The Employer Company did not submit the quota application before May 1, 2008
2. The Employer Company intends to hire foreign nationals arriving in the Russian Federation on a visa-free basis (CIS nationals)
3. The data submitted in the initial application has changed (positions and citizenship of foreign employees, as well as the amount of foreign nationals to be hired for the year 2009, etc.)

We also would like to draw your attention to the fact that up to date the Decree of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation for the distribution of quota between the regions has not been approved yet. This fact may complicate the procedure of Employment permit and Work permit obtaining.

As we have been notified by the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation, the Decree on approval of the list of foreign nationals? positions for whom the quotas will not be applicable within the year 2009 is being prepared.
